The New Baby Food Rules
I had the super fun opportunity to illustrate a feature article in the current issue of Babytalk Magazine. The content was about new “rules” for feeding your baby certain foods at certain ages, and the art director had some clear ideas about concept for these four pieces that allowed me to tackle some fun new subjects! I loved the 50s-diner theme, and always get excited for a chance to use new lettering styles.
Wedding Prep 101
I just finished up an editorial illustration for Baltimore Magazine’s 2012 Bride edition. It was an interesting article about what brides and grooms do to prep for their big day, outside of the actual event planning—everything from working out, to yoga, to plastic surgery! I had a blast coming up with lots of ideas; The art director liked this concept, since much of the article is about couples “prepping” together.
